"Harri Larkin" is the stage name of Cornish singer songwriter Harri Tape who is based in Sheffield UK.Her music blends elements of Funk, Jazz, Pop & Grunge into her song writing; offering a cocktail of upbeat summery sounds, soaring harmonies, huge grooves and catchy choruses. For fans of Paramore, Beabadoobee.
Larkin was crowned the winner of the 2023 Tramlines Apply to play competition by John Kennedy, landing a headline slot on Tramlines ‘Library stage', slots at Truck & Victorious festivals and A showcase with 'This Feeling' who subsequently chose her as one of their ‘Big in 2024’ picks.
Other notable shows and appearances include Isle Of Wight Fest, YNOT?, 110 above's ‘OTHR’ Festival & Sheffield's Rock n Roll Circus with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds thanks to BBC introducing and support slots including Ska legends Madness.
Larkin gained recognition in 2022 when she and her band opened Tramlines Festival Main Stage following the broadcast of her entire debut album ‘Beach City’ on BBC introducing. Later that year she was invited to record a session of her single 'Bonfire Toffee' for BBC introducing LIVE. The track came in at #4 in BBC Introducing Sheffield's ‘Top 50 tracks of the year’ and has since received national radio plays on BBC radio 6, Radio X and Amazing Radio UK/USA.
Spring 2025 saw the release of the EP ‘Slowburn' featuring singles ‘The Old Days’ and ‘Too Close To The Sun’. Both received national radio plays across radio X and Radio 6 with the latter obtaining ‘Track of the Week’ across BBC introducing Sheffield and Leeds.
