ABOUT US
"Harri Larkin" are a DIY Alternative band based in Sheffield UK.
The trio is fronted by Cornish Songwriter Harri Tape alongside drummer Danton Laromani and
bassist Oscar South.
In May 2023, John Kennedy (Radio X) chose Harri Larkin as winners of the Tramlines Apply to play competition out of 1578 applications.
As the winners the band landed a headline slot on the BBC introducing curated 'Library stage' at Tramlines as well as slots at Truck & Victorious festivals, A showcase with This feeling in front of industry professionals, a feature in Exposed Magazine and £500 towards recording at Pirate Studios.
You can also catch them at 110 above's 'OTHR' festival, Long Division, Outcider Festival and other currently unannounced festivals this year.
In July 2022 Harri Larkin opened Tramlines Festival Main Stage where they shared the stage with the likes of Sam Fender, Declan McKenna, Baby Queen, JAMES and Shed seven. This tremendous feat was following the broadcast of their entire 11 track Debut album 'Beach City' on BBC introducing Sheffield.
Earlier the same year the band opened Wychwood Festival Mainstage for The Undertones and Sophie Ellis- Bextor.
Although loosely labeled an 'Alternative' band, Harri Larkin blends elements of Funk, Indie, Jazz, Ska, Pop & Punk into their music, offering upbeat summery sounds, huge grooves and catchy choruses.
Harri Larkin were invited to record a session of their latest single 'Bonfire Toffee' for BBC introducing LIVE in November 2022. The track came in at #4 in BBC Introducing Sheffield's 'Top 50 tracks of the year' countdown & has since sparked interest at radio 1.
