ABOUT US
"Harri Larkin" are a DIY Indie Funk band based in Sheffield UK.
The trio is fronted by Cornish Songwriter Harri Tape alongside drummer Danton Laromani and
bassist Oscar South.
The promising new outfit opened Tramlines Festival Main Stage in July 2022 where they shared the stage with the likes of Sam Fender, Declan McKenna, Baby Queen, JAMES and Shed seven. This tremendous feat was following the broadcast of their entire 11 track Debut album 'Beach City' on BBC introducing Sheffield.
Earlier the same year the band opened Wychwood Festival Mainstage for The Undertones and Sophie Ellis- Bextor plus a sold out main room performance at the famous Leadmill venue in Sheffield.
Although loosely labeled Indie funk, the band blends elements of Jazz, Ska, Pop & Punk into their music, offering upbeat summery sounds, huge grooves and catchy choruses.
Harri Larkin were invited to record a session of their latest single 'Bonfire Toffee' for BBC introducing LIVE in November 2022. The track came in at #4 in BBC Introducing Sheffield's 'Top 50 tracks of the year' countdown & has since sparked interest at radio 1.
